Need some ideas.

I'm looking for ideas of what kind of rims would look good on my 1978 Cadillac Coupe DeVille.

I'm not real keen on the idea of putting HUGE rims on it like most people are doing with cars like this these days. I think anything over 20" is just too much. However, I do like the "low-rodder" look.

Overall, I'd like to keep it kind of "old school". I have always liked Cragar's, but the Caddy's had a spoked rim option that looked a lot like the hub caps I currently have, and I was thinking of tracking down some of those. If I went with something like Cragar's, or any muscle/rodder rims, I'd like the rear to have a wider stance than the front.

Just looking for some ideas and suggestions of what you folks would do.

What the color/style plans are:

The car will be royal purple over black two-tone.

Black interior, with no more wood trim (all of that will be painted black to match the exterior), purple and chrome accents with a custom guage setup with round digital gauges.

Have yet to decide if I want to lower it or not.

I have pics of the car in my gallery if you'd like a reference. It's currently a tan color with stock rims/spoked hubs. All chrome intact.

I'm also debating on painting the chrome parts to match the paint, when the time comes. I saw a pic somewhere of a Caddy of the same year that was all blacked out, with no chrome, and it actually looked really nice. (I'll see if I can find that.) But in washing the car the other day for the first time, the chrome is almost immaculate. So I'm not sure. lol

Here's the blacked out Caddy. No clue who the person in the pic is.
