Need Some Powder Coat
 

Anyone know of a good powder coat shop around Kentucky, Tennessee, Indiana? I need to get my subframe and parts done in a semi-gloss.

Some of these may only service commercial accounts and some will do work for the public. Some may not have the capability to handle a frame.
Remember that you have to have all welding' fitting and grinding finished before powercoating. It is also a good idea to have it as clean as possible meaning, no grease or oil. Most power coaters will have a sandblast room or a connection with one.

Yeah, I would be interested. Especially if they can do semi-gloss.

Another experience has been the powder coating process that involves heat can warp some parts you might think would be a cake walk ...everyone likes to let on like powder coating is a point and click type solution when many times the results are less than expected..

The color and the gloss is a byproduct of the type of powder you use. It has nothing to do with the process. The process is pretty much always the same.

Clean the parts, sandblasting is a good way to do this or stripping. Pretty much anyway that's acceptable for liquid painting is acceptable for powder coating. You then apply the powder with a special "powder" gun and then bake for 20-30 minutes at 325-350 degrees F.

As milo said if your parts can't take 325-350 degrees F for 20-30 minutes then powder coating is not for those parts.
