Need suggestions on 350 build

Hey guys I m at the point where Im rounding up parts for my 350 build. The engine is already in my truck. It is similar to one of those Car Craft budget builds. The engine is a 88 TBI unit. Im dumping the TBI and installing a carb. I plan on using:
1. Rebuilt "fuelie" heads
2. A old NOS Holley Dominator intake or HolleyContender intake
3. A NOS complete Comp. Cams Cam kit 1500-5500rpm( cam specs.int.268, lift.454, exh.268, lift.454, lobe center 110)
4. Holley 600 CFM carb
Which intake do you guys think is better.

With that mild a cam, any of the Edlebrock Perfomrer series will do. 5500 is thier limit.

I second that. I ran the same cam with a regular Performer (2101) and a Q-jet. It ran suprisingly well.

Out of the two- go with the contender, and if you insist on using that cam get some higer ratio rockers. And for little more than the cost of rebuilding heads you can by a set of Vortecs straight from GM.
