Need thread size and pitch for main harmonic balancer/crank bolts on 88 318
Hey all, I had some issues removing my harmonic balancer with the bolts bending on the tool. So, I ended up fudging up the first thread or two on the main crank bolt and messed two of the 6 bolts on the balancer. So, I am going to retap the threads. However, I need the thread sizes so I can get the proper taps. So, I figured I would see if I could tap this knowledge base to see if anyone knew. Any help would be greatly appreciated guys. Thanks.

What's that you say, you don't have a dial caliper and thread gauges? No problem bunkie, just toddle on down to Harbor Freight and lay down some sheckels. You know you need them anyway.
