Need Tips to Revitalize Old Rubber Floor Mats
I just found a complete set of original (solid rubber) floor mats for my '66 Mustang. There are the "pony mats" some of you may be familiar with - but the color I needed (aqua) is not being reproduced. So I felt really fortunate to find this well-preserved original set.
Problem is, they're a bit dry. Not cracking yet; but needing some help. Something to soften them up and revitalize the rubber. I don't want them to become "adicted" to ArmorAll, so I'm staying away from it altogether.
I initially thought of saddle soap or mink oil; but these are intended for natural materials. I need something to help non-porous, man-made rubber. Any ideas?
