Best looling Buick of all times

Gotta be the 64 Riv, man that thing is Cool! The old 55-56's are nice but I really like the sleeker look of the earily 60's.

Very cool. Any info on this car? The rear clip and interior looks to be Corvette. Fiberglass?

It is basically a Corvette chassis with a prototype body, I think all GM's divisions built them for Auto shows, but apparently someone with clout didn't want to steal any pf the Corvettes customers. I've seen (some in person) Cadillac,Olds,Pontiac and Buick versions, and think some were much better looking than the 'vette of the era. I loved the Olds.

That was a concept car for the autoramas. My Uncle Jack worked for State Farm (?), they were a sponsor of the show in Chicago. He gave each in our family a t-shirt with the pics of cars on them, I found one years later in my Dad's dresser. I should have kept it. Most of the concept cars were crushed, some were snuck out the backdoor. There was a lawsuit involving one of them a few years back, G.M. lost. Deinetely cool looking cars, the "Jetson" look..lol. Absolutely gorgeous concept car. It's a pity GM never put the 'Buvette' into production. But on the other hand, maybe it's better they didn't. It would have undoubtedly run circles around the 265 that cam stock in the first V8 Corvette. It's presence on the show room floor would have diminished the value of the little Birds also...

I won't toy with automotive history - I'll just dream and let it be

Madd, that is the Y-Job disigned by Harley Earl in 1939 on which the Blackhawk was based. I think they should have built the Blackhawk. It was a very very cool car.
