neutral safety

I am re building a 1968 coupe into a RS wiring diagrams too confusing first ? can someone tell me in words how to wire a neutral safety switch from back up lights to ignition switch to neutral switch????

I'm gonna assume this is a Camaro. The neutral safety switch interrupts the starter solenoid activation circuit when the shifter is not in park or neutral. That's the fat purple wire that goes to the innermost small terminal on the solenoid.
