neutral safety

got the oil in trans and works fine realized no neutral safety switch took cover off hurst rachet shifter and found switch there its depressed when in park assume thats the switch it has 2 wire connectors where does it hook up its a chevy 40 turbo

safety switches are hooked into the starter circuit for the engine.

Do the instructions for the shifter help ?

run one of the wires from your key switch or push buttom to the netural switch on the shifter and the other to the starter..easy cheeseie
