Never Really Thought About It Before...

okay...i've been going full throttle on my car everyday for months.....i stripped the paint off...bought all the supplies and have been patching in new metal and such...filling body panels....sanding....etc etc etc...

now, once i finish everything, and i go to paint the first coat of epoxy over the intial body work...im supposed to somehow clean off the car im sure....but i dont know how i would want to go about doing that? i dont see give the car a wash as an option...lol...do i just blow it off with compressed air and the get some tack rags and go over it or what?

then after that when im done with the secondary body work and block sanding and stuff....and am going to paint some final primer before i drop it off to get painted...do i do the same thing? can someone give me some steps to follow?

thanks

This is what I use works very well to get all the oil and finger prints off of the car before painting..I also use it between coats to pick up any dust or trash that may have snuck in..

Use white towels and keep washing till there is no residue on the towel..wipe in one direction only..wiping in circles only just moves the trash around and does not remove it..

Before I prime, I use Duponts Final Klean (3901s). You can use it on sanded primers, cured primers, OEM finishes, etc etc. When you use it make sure you wipe ON wet and wipe OFF wet. Do not let it dry on the surface. Having 2 people makes this much easier.
