Post New '48 Chevy Truck seen in Classic Trucks

Ijust received the latest issue of Classic Trucks and all I can say is WOW!!!!!!!!
After reading the article about the "New '48" and the 5 cyl. Vortec one can only hope and pray that Chevrolet will make this a production truck.
I am currently working on a '50 as a hot rod project drooling over this truck.
The truck is beautiful.
General motors could sell millions of them. It could be their standard regular cab short bed 2 wheel drive truck or a one off like the SSR it would not matter.
It would sell!!!!!

I didn't re-subscribe to either Classis Trucks or Custom Classic Trucks...since I no longer have the '65.

Only ones I get now are StreetTrucks and Car Craft.

Sounds cool though, next time I'm at the grocery store I'll pick up an issue and check it out.

I just saw the same truck at the Turkey Run in Daytona last week. I must agree that they truck is very sharp. I beleve it looks better in person than from the mag. I wouldnt mind seeing them become a production truck. I also have a project 1950 chevy truck and love the 1st gen style.
