new to the board

just sayin hello ..
new to the board as well as hot rodding, mini trucker before this ..
i just purchased a 1964 chevrolet lwb step side truck .. payed 800$ to drive off the lot ...
current mods, edlbrock intake manifold, chrome air filter, headers, and alot of rust .. i just bought a new 350 for it .. it'll be in and done this friday ..

did em myself, not real paint tho, just many layers of white rustuleum
use to have rims, but if youve owned aluminum rims you know how potholes disagree with them most of the time

pot hole headachs!

Pot holes don't like tires! We have low profile tires and big rims on our Focus and it busted the sidewalls on three tires just going over curb's and pot holes?? These big wheels with no side wall tires may look good but they ride like *****!

Re: pot hole headachs!

i went to the junkyard for the engine .. and will be goin back to get my front sups. from a 71 truck to get rid of the drums .. and a powersteering set up from an 81 chev (i believe) .. other than that, a swap meet, jegs, or summit racing
