new builder in morristown tn

hay to all like i said iam a new builder trying to make a hot rod out off a 31 ford 55B. i have redone a 1957 belair 4 door which turn out good and then i did a 1953 packerd which was harder to do but it turn out real nice. now i have always would like to do a cool looking hot rod. so i found one which is the 31 it had a lot of thing done to it but far from not being finesh. so i treaded my motorcycle for it and got it home. so i started taking it apart and set it the way i would like but i can tell you it is a hole diff ball game then just redoing an old car. ie i found out iam a strugeling fabercator and not a good speller so if you can look over that part. iam 44 year old male mairry with three girls. i work in a cless 8 truck shop and i like to tinker with stuff. i well try to get some pics of the car when i get on my wifes computer.

Welcome Trotter. Your skill will improve and with good choices and patience every project will be better than the last and pay for the next one. Very few hobbies pay for themselves but if you do your own work this one can.

BTW I used to sell Freightliner parts in Morristown years ago.

This would be a good time to plug he Cabin Fever Car show in Knoxville the weekend of Jan 11th

I like your 31..I think doing a restoration and cleaning with some upgrades to probably some poor work and it will be a fine car..
