A 3/8" fuel line that does not have any kinks in it will feed a engine well over 500 horsepower
A Edelbrock or Carter engine mounted mechanical fuel pump 110GPH rated and a 3/8" fuel line is all you need. Add to that a Carter P4070 electric pusher at the tank to ensure/
prevent vapour lock under the harshest hot soak condition and you have a bullet proof street/strip fuel system
Be sure the fuel pick up tube in the tank is a true 3/8" and goes to the deepest part of the tank and you are good to go.
5 to 7psi fuel pressure is all you need. More is not better. A 1/2" fuel line will not add anything to this.

Keep the fuel line routed away from the headers and other heat spots and you are all good.

Keep it simple. Use a 750cfm to a 850cfm carb.
