Cam swap and rocker arms. I used the LT4 hot cam and the 1.6 roller rocker arms, I have aluminum heads yours should be cast so check and see what is the max lift cam you can use.

Go to lt1tech.com. They have a section devoted to the B body.

Do a google search on LT1 upgrades/modifications. You'll find a buttload of information man. VERY popular engine to mod.

Don't know your budget but, Nitrous Works manufactures system model: 13070 75-175 HP for your stock engine application. Small V8s can typically accept up to 140 extra horsepower, these suggested ranges provide maximum reliability from stock engines using cast pistons and crankshafts with few or no engine modifications.

LT1's respond very well to cam swaps. Also, you could probaly pick up a set of loyd elliot aluminum heads. (www.eportworks.com) Also, as mentioned above, the 1.6 roller rockers are a great upgrade. There are many things that you can do to them to make them go.... I have an 11 sec 94 camaro that gets 23-5 mpg on the highway.

Oh, and a last note, all the modifications are made even better with a computer tune to help. Try madz28.com
