Ok u-joint broke driveshaft goes flying, fix, driveshaft comes off on highway a few months later cus i'm guessing it wasn't balanced, new driveshaft off of other el camino (stock u-joints) and now its making a sorta rubbing/squeeking noise that gets fast with the RPM's, so what is the noise and how can i fix it?
Also are these U-Joints gonna break too, cus i'm getting pissed off at this driveline, i'm definitely investing in a driveshaft safety loop, ripped off half my exhaust the last time it went flying around at 70 mph. |

It wasn't making this noise on the other car though.

Speaking of angles, are all yours stock? Have you changed rear ends, springs, mounts, etc. Or have you changed anything about the way the engine and tranny mount? If the angles aren't "cancelling" each other out, it could be screwing up your u-joints. <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

new squeek
I would agree that the u-joint is going away. You have about a week and it'll show you which one. Better to schedule a fix on you time schedule that 1/2 way to work on a rainy day. This happened to me before a date in the olden days.
