New EEC Charcoal Canister Plumbing?

I'm putting a NEW EEC charcoal canister on my 72 Monte Carlo.

It's for a FORD & only has 2 ports. I can blow in either port & the air comes out the other port easily. No labels as to in or out, so I don't think it will matter.

The original gas/vapor separator above the front of my new gas tank is plumbed up properly to the 3 ports on the gas tank.

The new fuel vapor line runs up to the engine compartment & is on one port of the new charcoal canister.

Now my question is where to plumb the canister out line?

I have been given advice to Tee it into my PCV line, but wouldn't that apply full intake manifold vacuum to my gas tank & possibly interfere with my fuel pump?

I'm thinking of plumbing it into the bottom of my air cleaner in-board of the filter element???

Thanks BBP
