If you're yanking the 327 for the sake of more cubes and already have a 350 block, spend 100 bux and get yourself a cast stroker crank. Build up a 383.
My vote goes for the 284. I have the 280 in my 383 motor and find that I could have used the more aggressive profile of the 284 (its not just 4 degrees difference, the overlap and ramp rates are totally different, too).
