new engine today!

my 31 year old engine (that i got for freebee) pooped the bed recently.
so i bought a re manufactured one from checker.
and it will be here today!
3 year unlimited mile warranty.
i am jazzed.
i sure miss driving the love weasel.

i THINK i will be able to finish the install today.
yesterday i pulled all the parts i will be using off the old one ,degreased them and got em ready for paint (black)

as per usual.
installing everything takes much more time than i anticipated.
for instance i had a cracked motor mount.
i already know this so there is no earthly reason for me to say to myself.
self i will be done in 5 minutes.
but now all i have to do is install the rad ,connect a few hoses and 1 throttle cable.
i will be breaking it in today

Is that you in the pic working on the engine ? if so i was expecting a very long beard LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
