New to the Forum with a Chopped '41 Ford Coupe

Hello-

I am new to HotRodders.com and I am amazed at the insight and experience one can access from the folks on this site! I will need it!

I recently purchased a '41 Ford Coupe that has been chopped about 4 inches from what I can tell. The guy that did the work finished radiusing and frenching the driver's side, but before he could finish it, he passed away from cancer. I am simply amazed at what he did to this car, and I hope I can finish what he started. He was very talented to say the least.

In addition to being chopped, he redid the frame and installed a Mustang II suspension up front, and 8 3/4 Mustang rear end. Up front, he installed a 455 buick and turbo 400. Interior has not been touched, but it has a tilt wheel in it from a Cadillac.

As I move forward with this project, I will be asking lots of questions, and will need a lot of advice.

Take care,

Ty

Howdy. Sounds like an awesome ride. Please start a journal and post a bunch of pictures of the car. As you proceed you can supplement with more shots of the work you are doing.

BBD, Did you pick that up in Red Deer? Looks an awful lot like a project I was looking at there in May. Welcome to the board!
