New to forum, just stopping by to say hello

Hello all, and let me say that your site is great. I have been reading lots of the posts made here in the interiors section as that is one thing that really intrigues me. I ordered one of the books that has been mentioned in here so I hope that it helps clear up some of my "Dumb Questions" LOL I am hoping to redo the interior of my 38 Chevy Sedan so maybe with all thses posts, ideas and what I read, it'll go okay. If not then I'll turn to a upholstery guy and let him do it, But I am after the pride of doing it myself, so with luck it'll turn out okay. I have done sheet metal work in the past on racecars, building everything from door panels, dashes in door slammers, to ****pits, interior and bodies for dirt cars. The forming of the panels I think I might can handle, it's the fabric work that imtimidates me. Any way, I'm rambling on. The last thing to say is that the stuff I have seen from hotrodup, Kristkustoms, is very nice, you guys keep up the good work! Have a great day, Red

Welcome to the best site on the web, Red!

Don't hesitate to post questions ... I'm like you, looking forward to doing the interior on my 54 Chevy pickup this summer -- I'm gonna kick it off by putting a pair of Lincoln power seats in. Then I'll know what my color scheme is gonna be and I'll start making panels.

The interior section is my favorite, so I'm looking forward to getting into as many cool posts as possible. I've learned everything I know here! I just bought my truck last year (Jan 2003) and I've gotten so much help here it's hard to believe!

I don't know how to do interiors either, but between all the cool info in those books you mentioned (you probably got them from one of my links here) and all the helpful info we get here, I'm convinced that I'm gonna do a beautiful job on my truck! And I'll bet you'll do the same on your 38 Chevy!
