E15 is just what it says and has 15% ethanol or 1/2 again as much ethanol as E10. Corn producers here in the Midwest pushed for 15% for all vehicles but hotrodders, gearheads, some equipment producers, and other car folks made a good case for damage to older vehicles so EPA approved it for newer cars - those built after 2007 or 2009 - can't remember which.
We can still find a few stations here which sell ethanol free gas but they are getting fewer so I buy it to support them whenever I am near one.
