Hi everyone, I'm a new guy here and relatively new to building cars too.

I have two late model daily drivers but have my eyes on a few things out there that might be way out there, like a '49 Lincoln Cosmopolitan.

I found this site while doing a google search on the 337ci Flathead that came stock on the Cosmos from 49-53 as well as the 47-49 Ford F7 & F8 trucks.

My skills are growing, but I'm not ready for a full-on frame-off restoration just yet. I'll be practicing my bodywork skills on my '94 Grand Voyager and the rest will just come with time.

Yeah, I know that Those Other Boards are a bit more...stringent on the intro end of things, but hey.

Then again, my jeans aren't cuffed, my pomaide hold my hair down not up and I have no neck tattoos.

I'm going to start the journal as soon as I have my name on the registration for the Cosmo.
