New Guy and a 700r4 question

Hi All,

I have a 67 chevy truck that I have been working on for 7 years, and it is almost done (still needs int work).

I have completely rebuild the truck from the ground up (stripped down to metal, rust and rot repair, upgraded brakes, tranny, etc...)

Here is a shot of the truck!!

Welcome to Hotrodders John. This forum is for Introductions, not questions. You need to put your question in the Transmission/Rearend forum...that way the guys with the answers will see it.

Welcome to the site John Fabris. That sure is an awfully nice truck you have there! You have built something that you should be very proud of. Have a great summer cruising.

thanks guys...

Thanks guys,

Other then buying the engine (new crate), having the 7004r rebuild by a shop, the painting the final colors, I did all of the work. (bodywork, rust repair, customization). It took over seven years, but I also have other hobbies and life to deal with.

Here is my webpage that shows the story!!!

If any of you get KitCar Magazine, and noticed the 23 roadster military theme (with the wing bomb as a fuel tank), that guy was the guy that painted my truck and gave me a lot of coaching as this was my first complete.
He has a restoration shop in Vallejo CA, Here is his web page,
