maxharvard -- welcome, site looks good. I like the color scheme . Enter your site at http://hotrodders.com/submit.html for a free listing here.

Also, we'll be happy to list every one of your tech articles in our Knowledge Base: http://hotrodders.com/kb . Shoot me a list of tech article URL's, and I'll put them in the Knowledge Base, that'll give you some free backdoor traffic to your new site.

I saw that your How to Set Valves the Easy Way article is identical to the one printed on ChevyHiPerformance.com at this link. We have that listed in our Knowledge Base, but we credited ChevyHiPerformance.com as the original authors! Is that your original article? Let me know, and I'll adjust the credit and the link.

Hello Max,

Welcome to a great sight, glad to see another camaro nut join up.
Just go slow and see how it`s done around here and you should be alright. With all the newbies that are here now, some don`t know the difference in a u-joint and a ball-joint lol. and jump right in and post on how build a automatic transmission, or fix a dent and paint a car. One even said a engine miss was caused by a leaky exhaust.

If you have any questions just ask JON. he has helped me a lot.

Good Luck,
Troy-curt,

Unless you have explicit permission from the author, reprinting other peoples' articles on your website is illegal. It's a classic copyright violation. ChevyHiPerformance is a Primedia property. Primedia is a massive, multi-billion dollar publishing company that publishes most of the rodding mags. If they find out, they will take legal action against you and/or your website.

I would be extremely cautious of reprinting articles from other websites. I know how much hard work goes into making a website, and I wouldn't want anything to happen to yours. You can encourage your more knowledgeable members to write tech articles, or you can list links to articles on other websites.

Either way, I noticed your site is pretty new, but you've already got a bunch of tech articles. It's good to see a new rodding site focusing on tech as their first priority .
