New guy here from Minnesota

Hey guys/gals, my name is Brodie and I'm a proud owner of a 1983 Pontiac Trans Am "Daytona 500". I'm currently in the process of repainting it and overtime, I plan on swapping the engine/trans for a newer set (probably an LT1/T56 combo...getting sick of looking at LS swaps in 3rd gens) and redoing the entire interior. Anyways, glad to be a part of the rodding community and hope to learn some stuff while browsing the site.

Here's a few pictures of the car for your viewing pleasure:

Beautiful car. What is the engine in it now? The reason people put the ls1 in the 3rd gen is because it raises the value of the car substantially.

It's the factory LG4 305 with a T-5 5spd trans. I don't care about how the value increases or decreases due to modifications...like most hot rodders and muscle car builders, I'm in it for the love of the hobby, not the $$$
