New guy from Iowa

Hey everyone just joined the site as I have been getting a lot of great info from here. Live in NW Iowa and just like working on old cars whenever I can. I have a 55 Olds 2 door hardtop that im finishing up on now with interior, and starting on a 52 chevy truck, as well as helping my dad finish his 29 model a sedan.

Here are some pictures of what im working on. The 55 olds I bought this summer with plans to make a mild custom. Most of the work was already done, I just freshened it up a little with a new paint job and working on the interior now. It has the original 324 rocket mated up to a 700 r4 tranny. I put in 60's GM big bucket seats with the stainless band and a Gennie shifter floor mount with a custom made tall shifter. Working on a custom full length center counsel. It is bagged front and back with truck style arms in the rear and stock a arms up front. The model a is my dads project and is nearing completion now. It sits on a 2x3 tube chassis with a 14" kick up in the rear and 3" up front. Chopped four inches.

55 Olds before i got it.....
