New guy and new project
I just aquired a severly rusted 1946 c/k chevy 1/2 ton. The bed is totally rusted out but other than that it is reduable. I am going to put a different frame under it and a 235 for power. I am looking at all the options and have all sorts of questions about how to go about it the best way. I will post a picture later. It was used as a service truck in the Conoco Refinery in Ponca City, Ok and has some sort of open cover on the bed which looks like it was an aftermarket item but am not sure. I am 65 years old getting ready to retire and work on this ole truck for something to ride in the parades with some of my friends. I will take all advice thanks Jeck

Welcome..I had a 41 and a 46 back in the 70's and that 46 of yors will make a fine truck.Is the frame junk or are you looking for better ride ect?
