New to Hot Rodders site building 1966 Chevelle 310

I've read some post about the 383 stroker engine on this website and was hoping for some guidance.

I have a 350 block that was decked to zero that is .030 over. I'm going to have to go at least to .040 because the pistons currently slap.

So I have this block that is ready to go and another block that wasn't decked standing by.

I have the RHS racing heads 200 runner Pro action. I also have the RPM Performern Air Gap intake manifold, high flow oil pump and water pump. I will use an electric fuel pump.

I hope to use either the 383 kit from White Performance kit number 4340 with either flat top or domed pistons or a kit from Skip White part number P3832P-.040.

I talked with Lunati and they recommend a .600/.600 lift roller cam.

Its a lot of info but I am also trying to achieve over 500hp/tq and still don't have a recommended carb.

With the exception of the heads, no part has been bought so please substitute if it will help attain my goal.

Thank you.
