the new HRM

i spoze we can all drool alittle bit over the Crate Camaro that's on the cover and fills up half of the mag. but i was just wondering...

how many of you out there are just totally drooling over that 740HP Pontiac Crate engine? screw that Camaro!

i'm just trying to figure out how many of those $18,000 worth of parts will fit into my 73 455 block! E-heads and the J-E pistons are a must have. can anybody ID those headers they have in the picture tho? lemme know.

Only got one BB in the stable and its a FORD 460

All of the cars in my stable are sbc. All the parts I have stashed are sbc. All the engine blocks I have reworked and on stands are sbc. Bad enough feeding that 460BB FORD...don't need a 427bbc or 396bbc to drain my pockets. Is the other one/bbc a 454 or 455...I forget...no actually dazed and confused!!!

Sonny's hemi headed BB Chevy. Where do these people get the money for this stuff? I can't imagine having a regular job that payed enough to have a spare $100K laying around for a toy.

I was reading an article in this months Custom Rodder about building a rod. To have a rod done has now approached 6 figures. That is not the DIY ride but paying to have it done. Also it stated that some may approach 7 figures. One thing I know is that no rod of mine will ever exceed the price of the roof over my head.
