New member looking for hot rod truck

Hi Folks:

This is my first time on an electronic site like this, and already it looks great. By way of introduction I have had an interest in hot rodding since I was 15. In the years that have followed I have owned a number of older vehicles, but only one that has been completed. It is proudly sitting in my garage, and is a 1939 Chevrolet 2drsdn, black in colour. It's not a big buck vehicle by any stretch of the imagination, but it is very much a "hot rod" with many parts from many vehicles used to complete.

I am now looking for a partially completed pickup truck to while away my retirement years on. I'm looking for something pre-55 that is a driver that I can tinker with, but is pretty dependable for daily driving. I'd be happy with a six cylinder motor. Paint is not critical, but it has to be a dependable driver.

Any help you can offer in locating this vehicle would be most appreciated.

Regards,

Bill
