Thumbs up New member with some info about me and a Qn...

Hi all, Im a new member and this is my first post.
Im from Melbourne Australia and love my '62 Holden EK Sedan.
It's a 4 door (for those that dont know what we got down here, its similar in shape to the 54 Chev, but without the grunt. Its a 6 cylinder, with a few mods. She's been lowered and I've started a mild custom job on her, but my soon to be born 1st child has put a hold on that.......... anyhow, I run a small car club, so check out our site if you'd like and email me if you want.

My Qn is - I bought a set of mooneyes hollywood flipper caps, 13" that fit great, but some of the metal catches have broken off, and I aint that happy about trusting them to hold round corners. Does anyone have any tips on attaching the caps to my rims, in a semi-permanent kinda way???? Any photos would really help too.

I'll post some shots of the ar for all to see in the next couple of days.

cheers, and hopefully I'll hear from some of you.
Lucky, (tikEK)

Sorry, I can't help you with the hubcap question but, I thought I'd say "Welcome"!

As I was reading your post the thought came to mind that it is almost summer down under, isn't it? We here in the USA are coming into winter and the people in the northern part of it will soon be dealing with snow and cold weather. Enjoy your summer!

thanks hoodoo.
Yeah it is aproaching summer here, although I just got to work and it is raining up a treat - ahh well. Melbourne is renowned for having 4 seasons in one day, lets hope it ends with Summer for a few quiet beers after work.

That happens all too many times here in Wisconsin too. At least the weather isn't so consistent that it gets boring.
