New Member - Value of a good Big Block

Hello everyone,

My name is Allen, I am from Pittsburgh PA. I wanted to build a rod a couple of summers ago, so I started getting some parts, I came across a 1977 Lincoln town car with a Ford 460 with 48 000 original miles on it, tranny was good, so was the car. Figured this would be a good start. Project got put off for a while, and now I am kinda fallen on hard times. I figured if I can't have fun with it, some one else should. I had a guy that wanted to buy it to turn in to a demo derby car, I said no, just dosen't seem right. If any one out there can offer the worth of a good block and tranny please let me know, just want it to go to a good home. Thanks for your time, and have fun rodden.

Allen
