New Mickey Thompson valve covers and PCV

Hey all,
I have decided to switch over from an open breather to a PCV system. I got a cheap pair Of Mickey Thompson Valve Covers on eBay. I have never ran these valve covers or used a pcv system on my truck.

valve covers - http://www.ebay.com/itm/290659264328...e=STRK:null:IT

PCV valve+ breather - http://www.ebay.com/itm/310332738247...e=STRK:null:IT

Oil Cap - http://www.ebay.com/itm/390375794110...e=STRK:null:IT

I have a few questions. What is the best way to get the knock outs out? Will this oil cap work? On the PCV grommet, it looks to be closed, is this a poor mans baffle? Will I need a pcv baffle?

Thanks.

I think you need to cut out, the knock out holes

dont know if the cap will work

the grommet will need to be cut if you want it to be used as a breather, not just a oil fill plug

* I could be wrong on any of this, maybe someone else will speak up

I've never had M/T v.c's before. I read about people using a Uni-bit or a step bit and even wacking them out with a hammer and socket. The oil fill notched area is mainly what I have questions with.
Thanks.

I have these same covers on my T-Bucket and I used a small drill bit to drill several holes in a circle around the circumference of the knockout. Then I knocked it out and used a dremmel tool and file to smooth the edges and used a breather with a rubber grommet.

A short length of pipe about the same size as the hole, using the pipe as a backer where you are gently tapping the piece to remove with a small hammer. Place the pipe on a firm surface, the valve cover on top of the pipe, tap the knock out, out.
