New motor mounts for 96 chevy suburban
Let me start by saying I hate working on motor mounts!! It wasn't that big of a deal bolting the new mounts to the truck. But every time I change motor mounts on a Chevy (this is the 3rd or 4th truck Ive done this to) i have one heck of a time getting the engine set back in place so the bolt hole on the motor mount lines up with the bolt hole on the motor mount bracket attached to the engine. Every single time I deal with this and it is the hardest part of installing new mounts.
Does anyone else have this problem and do you know any tips or tricks for getting the job done? I always make it, eventually, but it takes forever and is VERY frustrating. Thankfully this isn't a job that has to be done very often. lol.
