Well, your best bet would be to look though places that sell stroker kits. IE, Summit, Jegs, etc... Then look for places around your area that'll do machine work on your block for you. You dont HAVE to have any certain length rods, but the rods you choose play a factor on the results the engine produces. You didnt mention what you wanted the car to do, other then 'go fast'. Street/strip, drag, circle. etc... If you want it loud, buy two 3" straight pipes, weld a piece inbetween them(to make an H pipe), and hook em up. Beautiful sound. extra tip, swap out the gears in the rear for a little extra pickup. Read though previous posts though, tons of information on 383s.
