new to nitrous

I just bought a 10lb bottle with high flow valve and remote bottle control for 100 dollars my first question is did I just get ripped off I seen it thought it was cool and jumped on it now I'm having a little buyers remorce so let me here some opinions and what's good prices on carb plates and soilinods and recomindations thanks for the help

fair price IF the remote valve works and the valve on bottle seals..

as far as running nos. buy a kit, don't missmatch parts. basicly you bought an extra bottle. as most kits come with one.
if you are not good with engine tuning, put the bottle down, and learn that first..
having dead on ign. and carb/efi is the first step before you even think of adding happy gas.

The bottle has an expiry date.
Is the bottle for you or the car?It will get rid of buyers remorse no matter which aplication you choose

If the bottle is out of date are they not useable???...where is the date located I haven't checked yet

They can be retested and certified, not a big deal, any good gas supplier can probably do it for you without much hassle.

To be honest having them check it over is probably a good idea anyway.

thats good o know, as I have a new bottle that came with a dual plate system I shelved, back when ups shipped them while full. try that now..
it's nice aged nos 1993 vintage.

Ok thanks everybody what's a good carb plate and soilinoid set up to use for 150 shot and is it best to use two soilinoids

The kit should include no gas below 2500 RPM,and a retard function for the top end.

If I remember it right,I.H.R.A. and N.H.R.A requires a fire extinguisher on board with the use of nitrous on any car having it on board.

So where is the expiration date or manufactureing date located on the bottle and where do the three wires hook up to check the remote bottle control I'm just tryin make sure my stuff isn't to messed up
