Just an FYI, this was my first time doing something like this and I'm so happy I didn't mess anything up and burn through the clear

Well it's getting better. This weekend I spent around 10 hours working on this one side, no wonder a detailer wanted to charge me $300. Here are some before and after pics. It is night and day difference, I spent around $60 in supplies. I feel really good about the paint now. Eventually I will get a couple of more coats of clear layed down, but for now I feel good about it.

Process...
1. Wet sand entire side with 2000 grit sandpaper
2. Mask of lines and around handles, antenna, lights and stuff
3. Rotary buffer with wool pad and medium cut compound 3 times
4. Rotary buffer with foam pad and Meguires light cut/polish 4 times
5. Meguires wax to seal the work
