Sounds good girl. Feels good to pick up something ugly and in a few years, turn out something nice. Good Luck with it. Can't wait to see some pics.

I think its special because we are family here on this site. I am happy for you sister. Good luck with your new project, a $100 bill is an easy budget to work with, it allows more cash to fit all the desired components you wish to install in the rod.

Your better off with the 69. More room for your friends and stereo stuff. A lot more ways for you to make it your custom. There's only so much you can do to a S-10. (sorry S-10 lovers )

I've been hopin' to find a decent '65-'69 Biscayne myself to drop my 454 (after strokin' it to a 496 ), 700-R4 and 4.11 12 Bolt Posi into..... Good buy !

Don't know what your style preferences are but I always thought a '69 Biscayne would look great with a freshened up stock paint job dropped to the dirt with custom built 17 X 7" Front and 18 X 8" Rear steel rally wheels painted body color, blackwall 40 series tires and Chevy Police/Taxi center caps for the rally wheels. That's how I'd do one if I got my hands on it.

Hmmmm, maybe it's time to get serious about finding one........ Anyway, enjoy and good luck !!!
