New project,"What direction to go?"

Hello everybody.I have a 1938 chevy truck. It had a small mason dump body on it at one time. Now just a cab&chassi.Looking for suggestions. Was thinking of going 4wheel drive but not sure yet. Also thought about going to 2wheel drive and more of a hotrod style.Only thing that bothers me is the big front fenders. They need big tyres and Idon't want to go the the new trend of 17 to20 something wheels with rubber band tyres Anyhow any advise would be appreciated.I do have some of the 4wheel drive parts but only axels and tranny&tranfercase.Thanxs
stefan

Go hat rod.
Drop the front end dwn real low, Put some big tires on the rear and adapt a later style stepside bed onto it. Way cool. HG

Couple ideas for ya.
