cutting coils is cutting corners, imho. you went through the trouble and expense of the disc conversion and new coils, it sounds like you are not the cutting corner type.
i would make sure the coils are properly seated in the control arm cups and upper pockets, sometimes they are not seated in the oem moldings and that will make the car sit higher. it helps to use a spring compressor to allow you to assemble the control arm and spindle, then rotate the spring to the right orientation and release tension. be sure to ride around and let them settle and then decide if you need drop specific coils.
