New Toy in the Toy Box
Just found a MINT 71 Nova Saturday!! Brought it home , threw the wifes car out of HER garage and tucked it in. Pics will follow as soon as it stops *&^%)# SNOWING around here !
 This thing is sweet ! Except the wheels and tires. Brand New Chrome slotted wheels (yech!) and whitewall (EE GADS) were on it. Soon to be Ebay participants. In the mean time, I'll be doing the snoopy dance...

This has to be the week for great finds. My 64 Polara, someone else found a 70 Chevelle and now a 71 Nova. Sweet!

IF the sun ever shines when I get home, I can take pics. Its overcast/rain AGAIN today, like everyother day in this H@&*hole. Grrr... Those rims are BUTT UGLY IMO. Whitewalls went out with the Kennedys, didn't they? They will be memorialized in celluloid as well! THREE WEEKS till I'm on the plane to see Gene !! The only thing this car needs, other than some rally wheels and w/o tires is a dash pad and package shelf. Unless you don't like the original puke green color.... So it's still a litttle brisk in N.Y.? Leave those winter clothes at home when you come out in 3 weeks, it hasn't been below 70 for 3 weeks now. Bring the summer clothes, sun screen, sunglasses. It gets darn cold at night in the desert in May, like 65 or so, so you may want to bring a windbreaker. I'll be bringing some beer and a 5th of some really good Mexican tequila, I told my wife I'm going to party 3 times this year (One down, 2 to go.). Get Winfield a few shots, loosen him up and spin some stories..lol. Dan

70? Thats 2 times our temps !! It was 32 last evening. Flannel shirt required ! No coats until it gets below that ! I wear shorts when it hits 55. I guess I'll have to dig up some Southern Comfort and some Roses Lime juice for some "Story Solvent", guaranteed to loosen up the stories. Side effect is kinda adverse. Triples the sounds of hammers. Is it the 29th yet?

That is a nice find. You don't see very many that are that close to original in PA. What are your plans for it, besides getting rid of the wheels, tires, and tail pipes?

Why did I sell my 71 Nova? WHY? WHY? WHY?
I really miss that car!!! Bronze with a white top. STUPID! STUPID! STUPID! Rally wheels with a straight rust free body. Haven't found a cleaner one since. Sold it to the neighbor kid for $600. IDIOT!

The Nova is nice! You may want to keep those wheels, just in case you sell it someday, it gives it that little ole lady from Pasadena look. BTW, 90's out here by the first of next week, hopefully it won't be that hot when you get here. Dan

 we going to hit 80's today. Then they expect a cold front to come in and get us down in the 50's. That Nova looks sweet, those seats look like the ones in my 71 cutlass. to bad it has a 307. Is that the same 307 they used in the 80's cutlass and caddys? NICE find

That 307 was a sweet engine. I had mine up to 130 mph one time. Kinda stupid but I had never had a problem with the engine. I even towed my #3500 boat with that car.

Toomany, yes it is a dry 90, gonna feel like a 100 for Beenaway. I'm not ready for the heat yet, summers are too long sometime. How's the frame going? My coupe is at Homer's now, we made some brackets for the seats today. Dan
