Well someone made a mad suggestion in another thread that I should consider moving to a 3x2 setup, so I did!

Just bought the manifold, carbs and linkage etc and ordered the air filters this PM from vintage speed.

All being fitted to my old-school '29 highboy

Cant wait!!!! :cool:

Now, where in blazes do I get the bracketry to connect the cable to the linkage...hmmm

Dang dude! I was half-heartedly joking about that and the other half was being serious. Looks like you decided to stay with the Chevy engine so when's the 4-speed going in it?

Seriously though, you did get me thinking. I spent a few days checking out options and add to that the fact that the existing carb/manifold setup has a few issues and needed a couple of hundred spending to replace the carb abyway.

KULTULZ yes I do have the carb linkage, thanks. Based upon the posted photos do you think the throttle cable bracket you posted will fit??

I am pretty sure it is for the ROCHESTER 2GC. It will allow you to hook a LOKAR throttle cable up. It is all described in their website.

I don't believe it is. I found that photo on the ROCHESTER CARB website. He has about anything you need for ROCH multiple carburetion.

I redid a PONTIAC 3X2 set for a guy way back when... :welcome:

Gotta love those 3x2's. Here's a set for a small block Chevy that I was going to install in the wife's car but she didn't want it :nono: .

I'm sure I'll find a use for it ;) .
