New to tuning...

Hey,

I'm new to all of this and honestly do not know much about it. I want to buy an inexpensive car (possibly from a junkyard as suggested by a friend... is that a good/possible idea???) and basically rebuild everything or buy new parts to make a beautiful tuner car. I want a car that will be able to hold nitrous and modern racing gear. Please someone help me get an idea of where to get started with this project...

look long and hard

Then buy what your interested in after doing some research. Only you know what kind of car you like so don't let someone else pick out a car for you. The junk yard dosn't sell cars but only parts. CK out this site.

CK the classified section to get and idea of prices of some projects for sale.

Don't build a "tuner".

Build a Hot Rod.

Took the words right out of my mouth. You'll have a lot more fun and a lot more attention with it.

Only wusses build tuner cars. Real men build hot rods.
