This car made me happy cause we have a know it all big mouth in the shop and he's always harassing everybody. I never responded back to him with the hostility he has but it felt good to see the car painted cause it was supposed to be an in and out and it came out just as good as a car he primed three or four times, and ad that to a boss that doesn't know much about the trade other than I have the least amount experience in the shop...it felt good to see this.
A finish like that straight off the gun would have no doubt shut the big mouth up.
There are ways to deal with people like that. Too much hardener in his paint, sudden dust storm in the paint booth , a bottle full of angry wasps in the workshop. Cold air has been known to take the shine off a top finish.
