D'oh! I looked right past the link and just grabbed the attachment to your previous post. Sorry.

I checked the link out in links ( http://links.sourceforge.net/ ) and in Mozilla ( http://www.mozilla.org ) but since I have Java disabled, it just pointed out I needed a java plugin for the page to work.

I found a nice beach scene to put it in http://www.regnatarajan.com/_photos/...hlifeguard.jpg BUT I didn't save the selection path! Now all I have are those jpegs with the white background.

[Edited to add ...]
Got it. Added a surfboard and exhaust stack.

'65Elky, the Nova is a '67. I just bought the car today, and put up some new pics in the album.

Anybody wanna try doing my '67 Chevy II Nova? I'm going to go with 15" Nova ralley's, and do the car in Orange, possibly even paint to match my S-10. Purple on Orange, with a kawasaki green pin stripe. That reminds me I don't think there are any pics of the S-10 on here anymore. I'll go get some.

That Nova resembles a Chevy II my mother used to have. Check out "Mom's ride" in my photo album.

That shadow is from the little yellow lifeguard truck that yours is overlaying. A proper build-up of layers would have been: the beach, the driver's side exhaust, the surfboard, custom wheels, the truck, the passenger's side exhaust. I use so many layers trying to get something to work that the file ends up over 2MB even though the exported JPEG is only 56K or so.

BTW, notice my new avatar? Old photo from before I started tearing the Olds down. 1Fast65Elky's 'rechroming' of the grill in images in this thread has me debating, again, about whether to keep the grill and bumper or replace with something fabricated. Whole lot cheaper and easier to try out ideas here than on the steel.

opinions, please!

I've looked at this thing too long. Attached is my hack job on an image to try out a new grill for my Olds. What do you think? Is it too fugly to rescue? Potentially better than stock? Too badly drawn to tell?

Dude, your neighbors are still raising hell? I know what you mean by crazy neighbors, but we havent had the cops out here....yet. If my neighbor tried to get me in a fight with him, I probably would as being as reckless as I am. Its kinda why my parents are glad Im moving out next month, before I do something REALLY stupid and get into some big trouble. And that my mom doesn't want tire marks in the driveway anymore
I hope everything ends up alright for ya bro.

Hey mike, I was playing around with ideas for your truck, I had an idea for a cool look for it. I went with a two tone blue and silver fade paint job, and I wanted to put some different rims on it than whats already been done, but I was to lazy to look some up so I stuck those spinners on it again...and then things kinda got outta hand, and uhh well I thought it was funny and made it even more funny
Grouch, I like the idea for that grill, like elky said, rechrome the bumper and the grill and it would look pretty good, but it is your ride and do what you want with it. Go ahead, do whatever you want to it, see if I care

Brad

Hope you beefed up Nightfire's suspension for that load.

I was trying to come up with a grill something like a '48 Caddy or a '55 Chevy. The original looks a lot better with chrome but it still seems heavy and gloomy. At least I have quite a bit more time to decide. Almost have a roof over the thing now so I can finish the tear-down.

Nice job on the Nova, I should learn how to do this photoshop thing. Just as I imagined it looking.

CGG, I took the pics of my S-10 out of the album for some reason, really it is Purple on Orange, with the green stripe now. Pics are in the album now.
