damn elky you are fast, I tried to get these out fast.
Identical to yours but Canary yelloeish. also no tint, and a slight rake as opposed to a straight drop... where'd you find those wheels so fast??

This from the guy with the '85 Land Yacht.

BTW, did you do any more to the Caprice since your last journal entry? I ask because my son has managed to bust that front air dam thing, crinkle a fender and run a crack the full width of the windshield on his. Not exactly the best kind of customizing to do.

Am I butchering this thing? Bumper and teardrop vents filled, catfish mouth grill replaced with horizontal bars.

Can't do anything but grunt work on the garage and the car right now, so fiddling with images and ideas is the only bright spot. Discouragingly slow stuff.

Billet? I'm gonna assume you're not talking about a soldier's bedroll nor a chunk of semi-finished steel. How about educating me in what that means?

I'm leaning toward eliminating both bumpers and making the body do a smooth roll. The front end is starting to look more like a Chevy of the same era, though, with that grill. Olds just made the whole thing too cluttered with chrome for my tastes.

What made you think there was any offense taken? You've already taught me a lot and came through again. I've seen the term "billet" tossed around but not defined. The context in which it is used usually doesn't give much of a clue to the meaning except that the user intended something beyond the dictionary definition. The search you gave does help. It would be pretty low to take offense at aid offered on request. Thank you.
