That's a steep price!

What he has now is virtually worthless, buying a complete Vortec long block makes the most sense. You can have 4 bolt mains, HYD ROLLER CAM PROVISIONS, and usually very minimal bore wear (less machining costs).

Buy a Vortec long block, sell what you have to someone for $50. Its the best start you can hope for at this point.
