newbe starting my first Hot Rod from upstate NY

Have been going to shows for years and am now starting my first hot rod project. My soninlaw is helping/guiding me as he went to Whyotec for auto body for 2 years and has been doing cars for years. Working on a 41 International pickup that we are going ot put on a mid "80s" Chevy pickup frame. Will start a journal soon to keep every body up to date. I am building it to drive not a trailer queen. Have not made up my mind what all we are going to do yet as we are still in the proses of stripping the body. I have attached a picture I hope it works.
