Newbee

Hello,
Don't know what to do about the title, so I put Newbee.
I am a newbee on the forum. I am working on a 1951 chevy firetruck that had 1400 miles on it. I took the cab ( was a 2 ton truck) and purchased a donor trucj for the frame and other goodies. It was a very clean truck to say the least. After seeing a post from bg and his chopped chevy truck I decided to chop mine 8 inches. I also cut the perfectly good dash out and made a prowler style dash from 2" exhaust- 3/4 " electrical conduit cut off driveshaft pieces and sheetmetal and fiberglass. I also removed the stock suspension and installed a mustang II with lowered springs and spindles. Along with that I installed a manual rack and tubular A arms. I guess I did it now!! To late to turn back now. I recently traded a frame machine with all the pots for a new gm 350 crtae engine and a Saginaw 4 speed. Yes, I know it's a saginaw ,but it is the 2 ring spline which is the more prefered one. Yeah, it is all bg's fault.
