Hi everyone
Hi my name is Bruce I live in Perth, Western Australia I am working on a project dropping a 86 350 TPI corvette engine and auto into a 79 XJ6 Jaguar. I am shore I will be asking some strange questions as there are not many people in Perht that know about these engines.

Welcome...I remember years ago it was said, the best things about those Jag engines was that they had the 2 tabs on them to hook the chain to.....So you could yank them out to drop in a SB Chevy................. ...I guess it was a popular swap.

Welcome Bruce! I sold a house to a Dr. who had two matching Jags back in the 70's. One to drive and one for the shop. The tow truck drivers loved him. I had a friend who had a 60's XKE with a 327 Chevy V-8. There was plenty of room under the bonnet once that long 6 cylinder was removed. Bud
